Question by duped4thelasttime: When was the last time the NBA finals started before the Stanley Cup finals?
Even since I’ve been an NBA fan the Stanley Cup finals are usually an entire series ahead of the NBA playoffs. So while the NBA is wrapping up their conference finals the NHL is getting started on their finals. This has been the case every year that I can remember (29 year old die hard NBA fan) except this year. Does anyone know why this is? Has this ever happened before?

I guess it depends on many NBA games went 7 games. If I’m not mistaken, atleast one series of every round went 7 games this year. I”m not sure if that helps…

Question by Levell: How will Nba fans react if the season is cancelled? Will the Nba lose fans for good?
At this point after meetings between the nba preps/owners and nbapa the two sides have made little 2 no movement about the revenue split and cap. Some people feel the season will not happen.
